[Quantum, 🇫🇷 Paris] Alice & Bob, building fault-tolerant quantum computers with cat qubits, is hiring a Quantum Experimentalist (Firmware) in the Performance Optimization team. You will measure, characterize, and optimize cat-qubit processors, integrating ML and optimization into hardware design.
[Quantum/ML, 🇫🇷 Paris] Alice & Bob is also offering a Machine Learning Internship focused on optimizing measurement selection strategies for cat qubit characterization. You will develop policy networks for experiment design and test them directly on quantum hardware.

The project focuses on designing robust ML systems that can safely adapt after deployment, combining multimodal foundation models with agentic decision-making and uncertainty estimation.
[PhD, Responsible AI, 🇦🇹 Vienna] The University of Vienna is recruiting a founding cohort of 3 PhD Researchers in Responsible AI in the group of Prof. Martin Pawelczyk. Research areas include data-centric AI, machine unlearning, AI safety for multi-agent LLMs, and mechanistic interpretability of deep learning at scale.
[PhD, AI for Climate, 🇸🇪 Uppsala] Uppsala University is offering a PhD position in computerized image processing and physics-informed ML for green hydrogen production. You will develop deep learning pipelines for 3D microstructure analysis, probabilistic surrogate models, and Bayesian optimization of manufacturing processes for electrolyzers.

[School, ML for Science, 🇮🇹 Trieste] The Advanced School on Uncertainty and Robustness of Deep Learning Models for Science, co-organized by ICTP, SISSA, IBM Research, and Area Science Park, will take place July 23–31 in Trieste. Topics include scientific deep learning, uncertainty quantification, simulation-based inference, Bayesian NNs, and explainable DL. No registration fee, grants available.
[Workshop, Neuromorphic Computing, 🇮🇹 Naples] The 4th workshop on Deep Learning meets Neuromorphic Hardware, part of ECML-PKDD 2026, will take place September 7 in Naples. It explores the intersection of deep learning and neuromorphic computing for energy-efficient AI.
[School, Earth Observation, 🇮🇹 Benevento] The 5th IEEE GRSS IADF School on Computer Vision for Earth Observation will be held in Benevento, Italy. It covers state-of-the-art CV methods applied to remote sensing and satellite image analysis.

[Summer School, AI for Healthcare, 🇮🇹 Calabria] The 2nd AIxIA Summer School on AI for Healthcare brings together physicians, clinicians, AI engineers, and researchers for an interdisciplinary week covering medical imaging, smart hospitals, and patient trajectories. The program features discussion-based and hands-on sessions on neuro-symbolic AI, generative AI, and more.
